...is it that people with big cars want to drive all over the road?
Why is it that husbands buy their wives these large cars to do small journeys about town whilst they catch the train or commuter bus to work? Have the husbands got more money than sense?
Why is it that they think they are entitled to park anywhere as they pick their child/children up from a private school? Does the highway code not apply to them as they pull up on zig zags or yellow lines or even stop short as they are let through a gap and then they pull up opposite the parked car they were being let past?
Why is it that they take forever to park in a parking space, which they have attempted to drive into as they cannot reverse into the space?
and why is it that everyone else is in the wrong lane when clearly they are, as they are too busy chatting to the front seat passenger, talking to their children via the rear view mirror or just gazing blankly ahead and on a totally different planet?
These are obviously questions that may never be answered but are always on everyone's lips.
Enjoy the rest of your day, especially if you are not out on the roads :)
See you again soon,

Wonderful Wednesday...
Good morning everyone, hope you are all well.
Today I'd like to tell you about one of my enjoyments when I'm not working....I love to craft and make cards. I have been doing this for years now and there is always something new to try. I'm lucky enough to share this hobby with my mum and several good friends so each month we get as many craft days in as we can where we sit and make our own creations whilst having a good chat about new ideas. We help each other with hints and tips and share our dies, papers and anything else we have to hand. All this is done over a few cuppas and the odd bit of cake or biscuit!! I do find when I am sitting creating cards for people that I don't tend to snack, so its also good to find a hobby you enjoy if you are trying to diet. Knitting and crochet are also things that I enjoy where I can't keep nibbling.
This is a recent card that I made for a friend. I always like to be given a challenge and I haven't been defeated yet with anything I've been asked. This friend wanted a card with '30', 'Happy Birthday', fishing theme and recipients name on the front. On the inside they wanted their greeting, which they gave to me, but wanted it printed upside down! This is obviously a standing joke with them and I was able to oblige with no problem. See that's the difference between shop bought cards and ones that are handmade. The recipient would have received this card for his special birthday and would not have had anything else similar and it would also have a special meaning to it. I certainly hope he liked it and that it made him chuckle.
Have a lovely day, bye for now. Please come back again soon.

Hello and welcome.......
and thank you for stopping by.
I've chosen to write this blog as there are so many things that I think about sometimes which I just want to share with others or tell people about and thought that this is the best way to do it.
This time last year I was approaching my 50th birthday, hopefully it marks a halfway point in my life as I feel there is so much more to look forward to and do. 28 years ago it was touch and go as to how much longer there was going to be in my life, which I will go into another time, but thankfully due to a brilliant doctor and his team he saw my life was worth living and saved me. So much has happened since then and I will gradually share this with you all.
I'm hoping to be able to share ideas, experiences, recommendations with you all and look forward to all comments received from anyone who visits my page. Please feel free to share this blog with anyone that may be interested in what I am writing about. If I can help one person a day with an idea, a worry they share, a way to do something etc then that will be another reason to smile.
Bye for now
